Meet the alpacas tour
New Summer Open Hours!
Self-guided walking tours available Wed-Sat July 12th-Sep 2nd 10am-2pm $10/person (3 and under free). Walk the alleyway between the alpaca pens and feed alpacas over their gates. This tour is at your own pace and led by you! Read the signage through the alley to learn a little about alpacas. (Alpacas will come up to the fences and gates to greet you, but you will not be in their pen with them like during a guided educational tour). Shop is also open!
For guided educational tours, see calendar below.
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN A GUIDED EDUCATIONAL TOUR?
*Make sure to check out our Event Calendar for events happening on and off ranch each month*
On a tour at our family ranch, we are inviting you to experience our passion for alpacas. Our tours are educational and interactive and you will leave with a lot of knowledge about alpacas and what goes into raising them and creating products from their fiber. Questions and pictures are encouraged! This guided educational tour is a way to get hands on with our alpacas!
At the end of your tour, you may shop our store and purchase alpaca items to remember your visit! Tour pricing varies depending on the size of your group.
Interested in coming out to the ranch? We would love to meet you! Available tour dates can be found on the highlighted days of the calendar below. We offer 1 hour time spaces and you can have up to 20 people in your group per tour. Each 1 hour space can be booked by 3 separate groups so, there could be two other groups in addition to yours during the hour. Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance.
If you have larger groups (field trips, etc.) or would like to have a special event at Rolling Oak Alpaca Ranch then please use the form on our Contact Us page.
Guided visits must be pre-booked. Self-Guided visits do not need to be pre-booked during open hours. It is a good idea to bring an extra pair of shoes that can get muddy or dirty. No pets. No refunds due to no show or late cancellations
Self-Guided tours will be closed in the event of weather. The shop may still be open. Guided educational tours can still take place in most weather conditions.
